Select Bathroom and Plumbing Centre owner-operator Mark Alchin has turned back the clock 20 years by offering good old-fashioned service on products at competitive prices. Seeing a gap in the market at the southern end of the coast, Mark opened Select Bathroom and Plumbing Centre at Warana on the Sunshine Coast in November 2004. The successful move has seen the business expand from three to ten staff, offering a combined experience of more than 60 years in the industry. "Our wide range of products caters for all budgets and requirements," Mark says. Since opening, the business has become one of the top five Queensland retailers of quality Methven tapware, as well as stocking Caroma Dorf, Englefield and many other leading brands. The store's impressive two-storey showroom displays the latest trends in kitchen sinks, tapware and bathroom products including popular square vitreous china hand basins and trend-setting ceiling-mounted overhead shower nozzles.
As well as the classy showroom, Select Bathroom and Plumbing Centre has a trade section stocking an extensive range of plumbing hardware supplying to the Sunshine Coast. "We cater for plumbers, builders, handymen and home renovator; we're open to the public five-and-a-half days a week and we can deliver products to homes or job site," Marks says. "Our friendly and experienced staff can also help you select the best products and help with advice on kitchen and bathroom design." |
